Sleds originally constructed previous to 1980 will be judged for the show.

Car Hood Haul Competition  This will be two laps on a course set up by the renouned Gisalsen Brothers with hills, ditches and turns. A 2 man/woman team will use a Sno-Cat hooked to an old car hood, load several half full cream cans, tow it around the cours, unload, load up a load of hay bales and haul that around the course.  $50 prize to the quickest time, deductions for spills and stacking errors.)

Tillotson Rebuild - Mechanic's competition; field tear down and replace the needle valve on a Tillotson Carb, get the sled running the quickest and win a $50 prize. Tie times split the money.

Celebrity Races - At this time, two Hall of Famers have agreed to a Sno-Cat Celebrity Grudge race on vintage sleds. Arctic Cat's Roger Skime and Polaris' Ray Monsrud will be there to settle once and for all....well, they'll be there to race each other for the enjoyment of all. Probably not much will be settled because this competition is played out on the ovals and courses all over the snow belt weekly throughout each winter..

* Norskybon Races are put on by a local backwoods promoter. There will be a limited number of classes and the trophies are welded out of scrap iron. If you are interested in participating, e-mail or call before hand.

Some of the events will be dependent on the weather and snow conditions

Here in the birthplace of the sport, all snow conveyances are still called Sno-Cats by the resident Scandahovians...
